AI bots talk dirty so OnlyFans stars don't have to (reuters.com)

I do think it would be good to smack this place down, not only fans directly, but the creators if they are indeed committing fraud. At a certain level there is fantasy but if you're outright lying that should be met with some punitive damages.

It should be obvious for any normal person that consuming the media of pictures and videos is a fictional contrivance made for entertainment. Because we consume media all the time and understand the difference between news attempting to convey some information they believe is true and a movie that is there to entertain people. When you get into the idea of chatting with someone now it can get murky. Especially if you're paying and the person you're chatting with is purporting to be someone they are not. A reasonable person, absent any kind of disclaimer, would expect that the person they're chatting with is the person they're claiming to be.

Free speech protection does not extend to deception which can cause harm to another. I imagine if the creators had to slap up disclaimers everywhere their revenue would fall off sharply.

My understanding is that chatbots are better at seduction than we are because they don't have their own feelings, personal history, and such to get in the way.

When it comes to sexual attraction people often have a very specific coding that they respond to, for that kind of chat I'd imagine you'd want to match that coding but if you make it your own and bounce their fantasy off your feelings and experiences it may or may not really help make a connection.

(A strong image I have of somebody trapped in fantasy was a kid in elementary school who must have been acting a scene out of a movie when, with very little provocation, he made a big production of removing his jacket and explaining in words that didn't seem to be his own and with emotions that didn't come from the immediate scene that, "Now I've taken my jacket off, now I'm really serious...")

When it comes to sex, particularly when visiting OnlyFans, a lot of people are watching some movie in their head and aren't necessarily in tune with the situation in front of them.

If you're really trying to make it with someone, especially if you really love that person, you can put in the effort to get through but I would find chatting with customers on OnlyFans exhausting. It's been a controversy for a long time if a man or a woman who do a better job running that kind of chat service with woman have the advantage of real female energy whereas men have the advantage of understanding male sexual psychology and never getting squicked out.

For people to make real money at it though they have to hire chatters, one performer who is highly successful can't personally service everyone.
