Hey there Hacker News! Spring is hiring Senior and Lead Engineers for our NYC based team. The company was founded in 2013, has just over 100 employees at this point (~40% of these in tech) and has grown substantially over the past year.
We're a mobile first ecommerce company that is trying to change the way consumers shop on their phones and on web. We believe in beautiful design, well engineered products, and building features that are useful and impactful for end users.
Tech stack includes:
- Objective-C for iOS
- Javascript + Angular and React for web
- Golang on the back end
- Postgres for db
What are Senior and Leads working on?
Depending on experience you may own a complete feature from end to end, help set the high level roadmap, mentor more junior engineers, scale our systems through changes to existing architecture, build an inhouse framework, or manage a small team.

Spring is three years old, with 100+ employees and $30M in funding. Our big idea is to create one site or app that connects end users with 1,000s of brands and products. We're growing and are working on new developing entirely new features as well as projects to scale out our existing architecture.
Our tech stack includes Go, React, Javascript, Objective-C and Java (Android).
We're looking for senior engineers who are comfortable working in multiple languages, can take ownership of whole features and areas of our architecture, and help us grow. Mentoring junior devs is also a big part of the role. We're a small team and collaboration is key.

Our engineering team is growing and we're looking for senior engineers who either just want to code all day or want to do some people leadership stuff along with coding. We're using Golang as our server side language, with JS and React for web, Objective-C and Java (Android) for mobile.
Because Go is a relatively new programming language, you don't need to know it to pass our interviews. (Although experience with OO is good.)

Hey there HN community- Spring is hiring full stack engineers to work on our mobile and web apps. Tech stack includes Objective- C and Java (Android) for mobile, Javascript for the web app and Go as our primary server side language.
Spring's big idea is to create one single platform that gives consumers access to 1,000s of brands. Consumers win because they have 24/7 access to a curated selection of brands from around the world, often at cheaper prices than they would see in stores. Brands win because they can directly reach a large customer base without restrictions like physical location or reseller costs.
We're three years old and have grown to 85 employees. Our NYC Headquarters is based in Flatiron and we have a small team in Krakow. We have over 1,000 brands currently on the platform and more than 600k active users. Tools: Golang, Python, React, Java (for Android dev), Objective-C (iOS) and a bunch of other technologies that help with performance and availability.
Qualifications: knowledge of Go is not required (it is a newer programming language after all) but previous experience with JS and a backend language like Java is preferred. And bonus points if you've worked on mobile before.
