Yeah, kind of lame that they couldn't be bothered to have a version with a normal text box for mobile rather than their fancy eat-all-of-the-key-events-even-control-characters desktop version.
Still the thing is cool, just the explicit desktop-only attitude is grating when a mobile-capable one would actually be easier.
This is awesome! Just curious, do they find images according to instagram tags like #A #B ... within #36daysoftype? Or do they use some kind of visual recognition method to retrieve pictures in real-time?
Curious how they created the dataset from Instagram. Does it use the hashtag search API or does Instagram does image analysis and provides results via an API?
