We are a small app team and we want to build an app for a random entrepreneur

Hi everyone, we are a dev team for hire out of Orange County, CA. We want to do something fun and different so we are putting a contest on for non-technical entrepreneurs who need technical partners.

We're not just looking for a cool idea. We want to build something really useful and we want to invest in someone who can really promote the product. In the end we want to build something people want to use and will use.

Here is the link to our content: https://www.tepia.co/contest/

Applications will be sent out by email at the end of the month.

Thanks and let me know if you guys have any questions.

Not to downplay your sincerity, but with a username like:

ap0rnnstar

you don't really inspire trust to many folks (granted whatever their relationship with pornography is).

You should have probably created a new account with your company name instead.

Some folks may still look beyond these subtleties, but some won't.

Good luck anyway.

This is said a lot about personal appearance as well.

Frankly I don't personally care about either, so long as the work is good.

As for their side, perhaps it can work as a good reverse filter.

Your website and post don't say anything about ownership of the app or IP, which makes me wonder if there's a catch.

Consider applying for YC's Spring batch! Applications are open till Feb 11.
