The inside story of Elon Musk’s mass firings of Tesla Supercharger staff (reuters.com)

Supercharging network is one of the reasons why people are buying Teslas, no idea why would anyone go ahead and try to destroy it.

Well, you see, a woman disagreed with him. At that point the only reasonable response to go completely nuclear.

Let's be fair - he probably would've fired a man in the same situation. When you're making panicked, emotionally driven decisions and someone or something gets in the way of what you want, the obvious response is to smash them as hard as possible.

From other news on the quality of Chinese EVs which will be banging on the door of the US and already making inroads elsewhere, he should be panicking. Those cars sound better than anything Tesla's been investing in, which would be completely on him.

All those cars need to charge somewhere, though. What a self-own.

The Chinese EVs won't be sold in the US for a long time to come if ever.

I thought the prediction of Elon being bankrupt in 3 years was a bit rash before this. Now he seems to be pushing down the accelerator towards his own destruction.

The one really good part of Tesla has been effectively sabotaged.

It will be a spectacular crash. There are way too many different ways for Elon to lose money. So many highdeas that employ hundreds to thousands of people.

Clearly an impulsive decision by Musk.

Well, if Tinucci disagreed with him, clearly she can't be trusted and her entire organization is tainted. </musk:sarcasm>
