Despite all the negative reports on TikTok, I still find it the most useful app for getting a sense of what people are dealing with around the world on a daily basis.

I see people in Canada and Australia putting out authentic stories of how they are dealing with prices and inflation.

I see farmers protesting with tractors in Europe.

I don't get the same type of content on other platforms.


Do you see negative news in China or just the countries China would like you to see negative news about?


I have seen both. But the major change that has happened was in 2022 when they stopped letting things go naturally viral.

There is a much heavier thumb on the algorithm, it is not the same.
