Thankfully the House of Representatives finally passed a $60 billion aid package yesterday which is expected to get rushed through the Senate. The Pentagon said they could start delivery as soon as Tuesday.
Of course Europe is providing support and has ramped up production!
There is nothing to get confused about (providing you get your news from a reputable source).
The fact remains that the US military (and military spending) dwarfs that of every other government in the world, by a long way. Hence US support being so vital compared to that from anybody else.
