It's close, but PD compatibility is piss-poor right now. The less tech-adjacent you get the more likely it is your device just won't charge from many supplies. There's no enforcement mechanism for this. Nobody is sending back sub $20 devices for their inability to charge without an A to C cable. Just add it to the ever-growing pile of devices that you still have to keep a legacy charger/adapter around for.


Long-awaited, right. I'd bet the vast majority of people in the EU didn't care at all about mobile charging standards.
