Silver was one argument, but the article also mentions that vampires don’t show up in mirrors because they don’t have a soul.

I think it might depend in the end if cameras ( including mirror less) are capturing the soul ? If they do then the vampire would still not be in the picture.

I take pictures all the time of inanimate objects that are not ordinarily thought of as having a soul. I see them in mirrors too.
