What are the best resources to get started with 3D modeling and printing? (tildes.net)

If you are looking at building functional parts for repairs and useful items you might want to check out “functional design for 3D printing” 3rd edition I think.

The illustrations are pretty crappy but the design advice and printing details are solid. The kindle version , if it’s still available, is garbage… get the physical book.

IMHO indispensable for starting out producing useful parts.


Learn to draw if you don't know how already.
