Vegetarians don't eat broccoli for protein.

They eat legumes. Chickpeas, lentils, beans, etc.

Meat is still superior, but not as extreme as your initial dichotomy.

Yeah, you're going to have trouble getting enough calories for hard work from eating broccoli for that matter. Wheat contains a lot of protein for a grain although it is terribly imbalanced and is best when complemented. Note protein requirements are higher when calorie input is low

Same problem, different source. Bloating nightmare.

Also, they do eat broccoli, maybe you don't but it's always touted as an alternative protein when veganism and vegetarianism is brought up.

> Anyone who works out at all knows this.

> Bloating nightmare.

Everyone who works out take whey and it'll make you fart chemical weapon tier gas so let's be real 2 minutes lmao

You can supplement enzymes to fix bloating, just like """meat eaters""" taking whey supplement enzymes too

They eat broccoli, but not for protein. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan either, stop looking for an enemy when there isn't one :)

Also, whey protein powder is vegetarian, so I would say it's not the 'anti-meat' crowd but rather the 'pro-vegan' crowd
