The free-to-play version is now gone from my phone. I wonder why they call it free, if it's just the same dynamics as a casino: loot boxes, payment for coins and all that stuff.


Because you're not paying up front, you only spend if you want to.


I wonder if the novelty effect is gone. It was an enticing game. Simple yet interesting to any casual player standing in a queue or solving a number 2 issue.

I tend to believe that now we have the luxury of heavier data plans, lots of social network options and a whole ecosystem of games that was not explored when angry birds started.

I am not sure if I would feel compelled to play it again as I think I had my share of it.

As a counter argument for myself. Candy crush seems to keep going. How that can be?

It was 10 years ago. Now it is unplayable.


That's a funny way of saying people don't prefer those newer mechanics.
