Eh? I'm not sure how you're getting that from the article. The article says that Bitcoin is not useful, and advises banks not to promote it. It doesn't... ban it, or anything.


People are utilizing it, but it is not useful according to the dictates of eurocrats. They are advising banks not to use it or integrate it.

You don't need their permission to do anything, Bitcoin is freely spendable today (albeit fairly worthless between gas fees and plummeting value). They're simply commenting on the derelict state of affairs.
