Since you haven't offered any specifications, I'm guessing you would prefer a FOSS, plain-text-only (well, if you prefer plain-text-only) note taking app which works on mobile devices, allows markdown use, syncs with the cloud, and features a blue icon with a big J in it. For this I'd recommend Joplin.

Try Google Keep, if it solves your purpose


Any note taking app is better than One Note. /s

Standard Notes is great. I wish they had added note sharing.
