This feels like spam. The challenge is just not possible in any meaningful way. I suppose changing everything to be a clone of motherfuckingwebsite.com would technically count as a redesign. A website with any serious amount of use/functionality requires a lot of interactions and a lot of different pages that need to all work together. I think it would take > two hours to even understand the existing design much less build a credible redesign of any top website. Take Craigslist as an example. Visually oriented people might think that they have crap design and there is plenty of VC appetite to carve off parts of their business, but it’s really not that simple. Craigslist needs to work on big and small screens with different inputs modalities and resolutions. It needs to present a ton of information with a wide variety of formats from a lot of different sources. And it needs to be easy to explore areas where you’ve never been. The site is entirely links to user generated content so there need to be ways to connect strangers to one another, and pages to enable posting. The total number of page templates needed to get the site working at the basic level of functionality is larger than you might think (I counted about 20 off the top of my head) - maybe this could be reduced but that requires a pretty deep understanding of how these pages all fit together.
This is a freemium SaaS for making it easier to research publicly traded companies. Any thoughts on how to increase the paid member conversion rate is appreciated.

You are awesome! Lapis News is essentially a news app to spread positivity by only displaying positive news, cute daily videos, and jokes – would be awesome to see a redesign of the website.
