Just so you know, not everybody can flag. You need a certain amount of "karma" to do so.

There ought to be karma threshold for posting too in order to block noobs responding with personal attacks to provocative posts they can't flag.

You need 30 (well, 31). It's a small enough threshold to be easily accessible to anyone, but large enough to block low-hanging abuse.
