I've seen this a few times now already - a GPA over 3.7 or so is a red flag for many employers - I think they interpret it as "does little outside of school".


As an engineering major, you won't have time for anything outside of school.


I should clarify, I've only seen this in CS, which is a far cry from an engineering workload in most places.
