Just like Stackoverflow though, you would have to use achievements or something in order to give users more influence over time, lest we have a rogue troublemaker deleting everything.

But what are those achievements going to be based on for a site where the number one use case is to keep up with friends and relatives? How many people shared your image? How many people reacted to it? Reddit and Stackoverflow have topics they discuss, and it's easy to know what's a contribution to that discussion. My baby picture might be a big contributor to the conversation between my relatives, it might be very distracting for my colleagues.
