I have launched a social experiment called EntropyGrid to collect human randomness.
This is a project with the potential to change the world.
Let me explain the details of the project.
Open the page and press the "Join the Experiment" button. On the next page, we will collect tap data (timing, screen position, finger pressure) from 10 taps on your mobile phone.
This is a phenomenon unique to you that will never occur again in this world.
Using this phenomenon, combined with a special encryption technique on the backend, we generate a string of characters (random numbers) that is unlikely to occur again in this world.
After that, if you agree to the terms, you can press the send button. (Email address is for obtaining rights. You can send without entering it, but no rights will be attached.)
The sent data is all stored on Google's cloud service called Firebase. (Security is provided by Google's App Check.)

Typically, internet security uses these random strings of characters to ensure that data cannot be read by other computers. However, the random numbers currently in use are pseudo-random numbers generated from existing computers. With the advancement of AI and quantum computers, there is a possibility that the basis of these random numbers could be read and decrypted. Current cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are also said to have the potential for their security to be broken in the future.
Devices that generate truly random strings (random numbers) have only been realized using things like radiation from minerals.
This app is the world's only attempt to collect information from people's mobile operations (taps) on a platform, generate random strings of characters (random numbers), connect them, and create security resources (random numbers) that cannot be broken by AI or quantum computers. EntropyGrid is a social experiment to demonstrate this.
The goal is to collect data from 100,000 people and subject it to specialized tests by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
If true randomness is evaluated, we will commercialize quantum-resistant networks (such as SNS), quantum-resistant security, and quantum-resistant currency issuance.
Participants in the experiment will receive incentives in the form of points, with more points awarded to those who participate early or introduce many people. AI and quantum computers seek optimal solutions, but we humans do not always do so. Sometimes, even if it's not the optimal solution, we take action for others, or continue our efforts despite low odds.
That's how miracles and history have been created around the world.
In an AI era dominated by optimization and rationalization, human ambiguity and irrationality will be the only remaining last value for humans.
When considering how to protect true human value from a surveillance society by AI or quantum computers, the only way is to create market value from human irrationality and randomness. As things stand now, only governance by centralized governments or powerful AI companies is conceivable, but if people use this system, we can build internet security and SNS that cannot be broken even by quantum computers. We believe that by issuing currency based on this system, we can protect democracy from excessive surveillance and control.
