Don't know the details of Google's setup, but they're creating a screencast with a tablet. There are several ways to do that depending on your hardware, but if you search for 'creating screencast with tablet' you'll find several examples.

Thanks, but I've been through that without a solid answer. It appears they're doing a standard desktop screencast then running it through a stylus-based app to write on top of the video.

Would have been nice to hear from anyone who's familiar with this.

Yeah, I agree, I'd love to know the details as well.

Or more specific to this article, the documentary Global Metal:

You can't spell "idiot" without "iot".

Intentionally Deficient...

I have Debian on a 2001 G3 iBook. Works great.

I'm pretty sure all Engineers in Canada get to wear the iron ring, including Software Engineers.

The feedback is a worthwhile read: http://arachnoid.com/psychology/feedback1.html

lutusp rejects all psychiatry and psychology. He denies that phobias are real; he denies that OCD is real.

His sailing is interesting. His NASA experience is interesting. His posts about psychology are mostly full of errors.

Here's one that's been up for years on Hwy69 just south of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada: http://www.sudburyelk.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=a...

Why not just use http://www.geekisp.com which is an all BSD shop? I've been a satisfied customer for probably around 10 years now.

Because their pricing doesn't match the current pricing situation of going as cheap as possible

True, but their customer service is bar none. Worth a few extra bucks.

Wow, did this post ever land at an opportune time for me. I just started writing a 'first' blog post about my Hugo static site generator setup and stopped half way through with the thought, "why would anyone care about this, it's trivial and almost condescending to tell people how to set up Hugo".

Perhaps I'll go finish that post now.

I'd like to read it - post the link here when you're done!

I'd like to read about it too...

I miss FatBrain. That was a good online technical book store.
