It's what we use for our simulator center computers. Works like a charm!

They didn't get live data, just the tire type. Shouldn't have had the device but it wasn't live data. Bad journalism as usual.

They should just mark the tires so you can tell at a glance. It's great fodder for the commentators to go on about the different tire choices each team made.

>They should just mark the tires so you can tell at a glance.

They do. Pirelli F1 tires are color coded so anyone can tell at a glance what compound it is. Not sure why FE is different.

FE uses only one type of tire and it’s the same tire for everyone. They are probably closest to, but distinct from, the Inter tires used in damp conditions in F1.

e-myth, get a grip

Want to help 25,000+ small business owners clone themselves so that they can stop running out of time, and avoid burn out? Then join the 17hats team. Founded in 2014, we have built the largest all-in-one business management platform in the world. If you are a Perl wizard, we want to talk to you.

It's a remote position, so you can work anywhere in the world, though we do require some overlap with Pacific time in the morning.

It's a small team of 5 developers so you would make a huge impact, both for our team and for our clients.

Obviously if you are a Perl developer, you know it is a small market so it is kinda silly to list any other requirements. We are looking for a good personality fit, good work ethic, and the openness to learn. If that sounds like you, drop us a line at jobs-at-17hats.com.

We also have two remote positions for Javascript developers. Our front end is done with Knockout and Jquery. Experience with Knockout is required, and a preference for adding value to our members rather than the latest shiny Javascript framework. Drop us a line at jobs-at-17hats.com if interested.

That's how AMEX shut us our corporate credit card account overnight. We launched a new shopping cart and tested it live in production with our own AMEX card. Mind you that we used that card for over $250k a month (never a late payment) and this was a $99 charge that we simply forgot to refund.

No appeal process, nothing. Caused significant short term cash flow issues. So be very careful using your own card.

AMEX used to have major issues with consumers trying to "pay" themselves — the Singapore version put me in financial review for a PayPal transaction that I had accidentally paid to the wrong address, and was subsequently cancelled and refunded — which to AMEX looked like I was trying to "pay" myself.

I don't know if that's still the case, but these days I'm wary about using AMEX on any sort of money transfer service.

In my experience, attorney fees for screw-ups (accidental or not) get very rarely awarded :( Hope just fighting makes the troll go away.

Warbirds and Slimeworld :) The memories just came flooding back. Loved that machine!

The problem is that sendgrid is accepting email messages, just not delivering them to recipients.

So even if we add that, our users don’t know what emails to resend, which would only add to the confusion.

When a company like sendgrid has an issue, that’s fine. It is not fine to not update their status page and leave their customers out to dry.
