This doesn't directly answer your question, but on the topic of feeling about the steps taken in the past, I have found this visual by Tim Urban helpful every time I find myself going down that rabbit hole: https://twitter.com/waitbutwhy/status/1406980353986809861
r/daddit is active and regularly sees posts sharing and seeking points of views. It likely won’t substitute for time support from family/friends, but still a community you can talk to - different things.
I really don't see a problem with newsletters. If one starts getting too dull or is no longer of interest, I unsubscribe.
Functionally, they all work the same and all have the same unsubscribe link at the bottom. It's not like the bad old days anymore when you were signed up to lists you never signed up for.
Unless your use of newsletters is different to other people's, I don't see what problem you're trying to fix.
Why are you signing up to newsletters you don't want?
What I have discovered is that everyone's approach to newsletters varies, and I'm just figuring out if there's a problem big enough for me to lend a hand to those feeling the newsletter chaos! Your input helps.
Not yet, but fairly easy to explain, in its current state. Nestful is a todo list app that can display items in Kanban or List view, and in which each item is also a board itself (hence the product name). That is it (for now ;))
