i’d guess that a very very very large majority of people don’t know or care what RCS is. i certainly don’t. i can’t even remember the last time i used an sms or mms. most likely people use whatsapp or telegram or signal or whatever if they’re not using imessage

I opened this link on my phone. Only like 25% of the video is even visible. The rest is covered by UI elements and text.

I used Bing’s co-pilot the other day to ask “if I travel 1km in 6 minutes how many kph am I going?” and it told me that I would be travelling at 600 kilometres per hour.

The way this was written and presented makes me want to buy Nitro out of spite.

Thanks!

“Oh no, I can’t lie to customers anymore. My business will be ruined!”

You missed it.

' Some restaurants, like China Live, also charge customers a 20% service fee that goes to employees in lieu of the traditional tipping system.

Hmmm. $201.2= $24, not $26.

I guess only some* people will notice...

When is this “tip after service” thing going to be rolled out to every country?

I’m really tired of tipping in advance, having the tip automatically set to 30%, being threatened with cold food if I remove the advanced tip, etc.

Probably never because drivers use it as a way to discriminate. Not enough tip? Your food will be cold or may never show up. A better question is when will tipping in general END?

> when will tipping in general END?

already ended for me: i chose an apartment in the middle of a bunch of different great places within walking / pickup distance

i'll still leave a couple bucks at the counter when i go in if it was a big order tho

A tech company doing sketchy things and skirting regulations? Why I never!

> Recently all companies started calling people back to office.

This is such an odd thing to say. It's very plainly untrue.

I can’t speak for other events, but QuakeCon and Dreamhack have had internet access (and quite good access all things considered) for a decade or more now.
