Macbooks are more like "phone/tablet hardware evolved into desktop" mindset (low power, high performance). x86 hardware is the other way around (high power, we'll see about performance).
That being said, my M2 beats the ... out of my twice as expensive work laptop when compiling an arduino project. Literall jaw drop the first time I compiled on the M2.
None or low entry barriers are an issue in lots of places. Even making a proper coffee is a craft you can't aquire just by googling around in a rainy evening (throwing hot water on pre-ground beans does not qualify you as a barista). Difference is you can only damage a coffee for the moment, not a whole software suite for many years to come.
Never assume that it's equally easy for anybody to use voice commands. Or that you won't ever catch a cold.
Just imagine that when you'll be at a certain age, mind control will be the thing you'll be told "but it's so much easier", even if you'll not be able to master it.
In this case a large number of their creditors, indeed the ones that should have highest priority, are the people who are currently stranded because they’ve already paid the company for travel they are now not going to receive.

I'm not sure that's the case - I think individual customers are amongst the lowest priority in a liquidation, as their credit is unsecured. The only people lower are shareholders, I believe. Almost by definition there will be nothing left for customers (as otherwise why would they be liquidising if they can pay all their other creditors?)
“Should” was the operative word in that sentence. The fact that individual consumers would normally be at the back of the line is a disgrace, however true it may be. The sentiment was that in a just world they would be at the head of the line.
10k lines that nobody including you understands? That's a liability if anywhere else than your home project that only you use
