Setting a deadline for deciding something sounds good to me, but the above is some kind of puzzle.



How much will it hurt if you do nothing? is a decent heuristic. Any time the answer is "a lot" there's a big complicated change that needs to happen. If there was an obvious or easy answer, it wouldn't have gotten to the "a lot" level.


Unfortunately, it's an art, not a science.
