We are a team of MIT PhDs and Y Combinator (W15) alumni that collect, analyze, and visualize large scale historical, real-time, and predictive data for parking businesses. The parking industry generates $30 billion in revenue a year in the US alone, but still uses paper and Excel spreadsheets to analyze their data. This leads to bad customer service, and millions in untapped revenue.
Starting from messy raw data, our SaaS solution provides beautiful charts and dashboards for parking business owners and managers to better understand their business performance and make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- User Research: communicate with clients frequently to understand, interpret, and consolidate theirs business needs via systematic approaches
- Product Design: work closely with the CEO to produce smooth & beautiful designs that meet the clients' needs, including user interface, product flow, and data visualization design.
- Product Development: work closely with the engineering team to implement the product, iterate with the clients, and further develop and improve the product.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years real world experience - A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design smooth & beautiful user interfaces.
- Great communication skills to effectively articulate your design decisions to both clients and developers.
- Good experience with user research, fast prototyping, and building mockups using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch

- Self motivated to take charge in projects from the initial client engagement to deployment - Experience with data analytics projects

Smarking just closed $3.2mil for the seed round. The round is led by Khosla Ventures (Keith Rabios), and followed by Slow Ventures (Sam Lessin) and many other global investors with market access to Europe and Asia.
