Why does it need to be free, though? Domains aren't, and you can get a PositiveSSL for $5/year.



Domains are far more cost effective. I can buy 1 domain and put up as many websites as I want. Certs have a 1-per-site cost that is too high.


I am looking at their site and failing to find that =P

Can you point me towards that ?

(not for arguments sake. I really want a certificate)


Don't go through the main website, they're much more expensive, find a cheaper reseller.

You should checkout https://www.cheapsslshop.com where I got mine. really cheaper.
