Haha, yeah, I wonder where that crazy belief comes from.


It comes from two places:

1) Experience; and,

2) Joseph Schumpeter's Capitalism, Socialism, and Democracy, in which he lays out the theory of creative destruction and entrepreneurs.


That's not a belief, that's a fact.


The innovation makes sense, but what does authenticity even mean, in this context?
