Had a non-tech blog. I mostly translated and commented on travel writing and news articles on obscure subjects.
Mainly it was for me to organise/summarise my knowledge on various topics. But it got too time consuming to write whole posts at once, so for a while I switched to writing Wikipedia articles. They fulfilled the same organisation/summarisation function, and it turned out to be a better platform than blogging for incremental/iterated writing.
