The 'sudo ifconfig awdl0 down' trick does not seem to solve the issues I have on Yosemite (described here BTW http://markmaunder.com/2014/11/13/os-x-10-10-yosemite-wifi-p...): TCP Retransmissions and TCP Dup ACK.
