I'm looking to gather some details on reputable accelerators or similar programmes that either focus on mobile games or are at least amenable to them and can help me make the most of something I'm working on (which I think is pretty unique and has a lot of potential). Obv I've done searching but it's hard to tell which are decent and which are outright cons.
Just to be clear, it's not 'just an idea' - I'm working on getting it to a decent enough demo state where I could show a good approximation of the final thing. Self-funding through freelance work at the moment. Until I feel it can show that potential I won't be applying for anything but I'm sure it won't hurt to check things out beforehand.
Also, whilst I could just do it all myself and throw it out there - I have no contacts in the game world and I'm terrible at marketing.
Finally, if you think the above is the wrong approach, what would you recommend? Thanks!
