The superstar coders are much harder to work with.
I think a lot of readers took this article the wrong way or were somehow offended by it. Why..?
This almost sounds a little like Eric Sink on software and is somewhat opposed to Paul Graham's philo, which is basically: the more super stars you have on your team the better. The OP sounds more in favor of building a cohesive team.
