Ask HN: RubyMotion or Swift?
I can't stress enough that knowing Objective-C is absolutely necessary, since Swift is still evolving and there is still so much core stuff in Objective-C. Besides, learning a C language always makes a user a better programmer, since it's merciless.

Objective-C will be easy then. The notation is a bit different, but you'll be able to pick it up in a few hours.
