I am surprised podcast apps don't use P2P to download media.

1) Podcasts are made available for all at the same time, and rarely downloaded after the next episode. Lots of people trying to download the same file at same time. 2) Would save publishers a lot of bandwidth. 3) Latency is not really an issue

Seems like a perfect fit.
