Isn't creating an Irish company relatively easy (if you are in EU)? I guess its a fair amount of work and cost to get a nice name if you dont want a company...



Comparatively speaking, yes, but they're registered in Germany, so that wouldn't fly. It looks like they used a proxy registrant and some well placed fibs to acquire the domain name, which is one of the more dicey ways to go about it as the IEDR aren't afraid to pull registrations.

Much safer and saner is to get a Registered Business Name number from the CRO. It doesn't cost much, you have it practically forever, and it's possible for private citizens and foreign corps to get them.
