My company has a good number of in-house developed mobile apps (iOS and Android) that serve our employees in their day-to-day job functions. These are not commercial apps to be sold in Apple's app store. These are developed as part of our enterprise development program.
Now that we've got enough apps developed to make distribution a bit more inconvenient, we are looking to leverage an Enterprise AppStore to accomplish this. However, we aren't sure which route to take. Should we develop an in-house app store to distribute these apps? Are there commercial solutions that already exist that we can leverage? What about cloud-based solutions? Are there any viable cloud vendors that work in this space?
I'd love to hear what your companies are doing to distribute enterprise apps. Anyone care to share?
