On: It’s Time to Make OpenStreetMap Your Only Street Map

I just checked the current version of Google Maps for Android. Looks the same as it has for many months.

* long press point on map, bottom bar, Save

* scale at the bottom right appears when zooming (unfortunately it disappears after a few seconds)

* no idea

* long press point on map, bottom bar, Share

* press map closes the bottom bar. or press the back button.
