So here's the gist. The big company that recently went private is where I work as a front-end engineer using technologies like Mongo, Node, Angular, HTML, JS. Top level management just axed the project our team was working on for over a year in favour of merging and integrating with an already established team that was acquired months ago. In this transition phase everything is disorganized and the transition is still being worked through.
During this time our team lead has given us the opportunity to learn new skills or build something on the side to gain experience in new technologies.
The new team is using backbone as their front-end MV* framework so I'd like to build something which I can utilize backbone.js easily as the front-end MV* framework. I'm looking to build something that could be useful for development teams or something our team could use in our everyday work possibly but I'm open to ideas.
I thought I'd reach out to HN and see if anybody has ideas of maybe what they'd like to see built.
