Cube (YCW12) is looking for mobile and web interns.

About Us:

Cube has built a payments platform and pos backend-as-a-service for developers. We've been growing 100% month over month and are on a mission to innovate how $3.4 trillion in credit card sales are processed each year.

Founded to be the best point of sale, we had to build our own payment platform because no one made it easy for our merchants to accept both card-present and card-not-present payments. We developed the ability create a merchant account in less than 60 seconds, process card-present and card-not-present transactions with Cube-encrypted hardware, and disburse funds to merchants' bank accounts all from one platform.

The Market:

Did you know that $3.8 trillion in credit card transactions are processed each year? Of that, 5% is e-commerce, 5% is mobile, and 90% are in-person transactions at the point of sale. There has been a lot of innovation with online payments, but very little innovation with in-person payments.

The Role:

We're looking for motivated mobile and web interns who want to spend the summer hacking as part of a very small team. We'll cover all the annoying things, like food and rent, so you can concentrate on building, learning, and networking with peers around the Bay Area.

Who We're Looking For:

Mobile Engineers (interns)

- Strong C or Java programming skills.

- Good taste in design. You don't have to be a designer, but you should take pride in your craft.

Web Engineers (interns)

- Good taste in design. You don't have to be a designer, but you should take pride in your craft.

- Heavy experience with Ruby on Rails and Backbone.js.

Benefits!

- Free housing with the rest of our team.

- Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

- Few-minute walk from San Antonio Caltrain station.

- Gym, shower, laundry, and kitchen.
