Right, but some of us thought that meant the Python folks couldn't use it because Google's servers were limiting the rate of GET requests for the cached pages. I.e. the data is inside Google but difficult to get out quickly (without Google's specific help).


Ahh, yes. Your interpretation makes more sense than mine.


I imagine Guido may be of some help here. Also, there are plenty of Google engineers with a soft spot for Python.
