How much would facial recognition help in the ER? There's already id bracelets, charts, and other ways to track patients and learn information about them. You'll still need a backup system because babies, identical twins, sunglasses (think "often worn by blind people") and people with face damage or head bandages are just some of the people who aren't easily be tracked via facial recognition. Better to have one system than two, no?
