Is anyone already running this seeing /dev/input/events appear as usual? Last rc didn't work for me, events was gone :( same config 7.2.10 was fine

I see /dev/input/event# files as usual. I don't think the kernel ever created events/ subdir by itself. Might be your udev configuration issue.

I didn't touch any of that, only the usual git checkout, gmake oldconfig and such dance.
