The Houthis believe the Saudis and fellow Yemenis are attacking them, so any situation where they are relatively left alone and have some advantage is a win for them. The Saudis are incapable and not actively trying to attack them in any real way. I have no doubt they life in conditions that we wouldnt like, but today they probably feel better than they did in past months, so relatively speaking they are better today than before.
This strikes me as unfalsifiable and irrelevant.
