It's a cool guide, but you kind of missed the opportunity to parse the packet metadata as arbitrary key-value pairs, i.e. for:
64 bytes from 1.1.1.1: icmp_seq=3 ttl=52 time=47.1 ms
everything after the colon is key-value data, and throwing in a generic parser for `pKeyVal()` would make an even better point of how elegant the approach is.
