Sadly no. BLAS/LAPACK are written in Fortran and they are the core of Numpy for Python and several other packages. Megafast number crunching it's mainly the #1 feature of Fortran. Just K can be on par and, well, it's propietary and even if it shines by itself doing calculations on vectors, integrating it with libre projects it's both impossible license wise and from a practical point, even if K was free.
the real test will be on the longevity side.
