It’s always scary to click on a new AI opinion piece from an engineer you admire, but this is very well-argued and well-thought, and possibly will shut down all the ‘it’s just a tool!’ arguments that somehow reminds me of the braindead discourse on gun control in the US, where any controversial position is brushed away with that exact cliché.
