On: Time Travel in Braid (2015)

[zabriel_goss]

The Humble Indie Bundle in 2012 included an all-star lineup: Bastion, Psychonauts, Super Meat Boy, Limbo. And even so, Braid was a standout inclusion. Reminded me of playing Portal for the first time in the way it made me rethink an entirely unconventional mechanic. Then, for the time mechanics to later be revealed as a major twist for the plot. Remarkable title!

That bundle also included Amnesia: The Dark Descent as additional star. Crazy times, it must have been one of the peak bundles in terms of quality

I dont think I ever powered through that one from beginning to end. 2012 was a golden year otherwise.

Yes, right! Another landmark title. It was a hard lineup to beat. _And_ I just recalled that it was pay-what-you-want!

And drm free with native linux ports

I still listen to the bastion soundtrack from time to time.

That purchase really ruined my expectation of future bundles.

[dt23 → V__]

It really was a fantastic bundle

And FTL and Superhexagon and Osmosis.
