I don't see much wrong with antirez. He does what he does and gives it to the world for free, if you don't like it you are free to roll your own or ignore it. All you are doing here is behaving in a jealous way that makes no sense to me.

Grandparent wondered whether he was the only one that mistrusts antirez, parent asked for reasons why one would do that, I provided my own.

I used redis multiple times in the past, I have no resentment towards the project or its author(s).

That does not mean that either is above criticism, and I know my freedoms quite well thank you very much.

In this thread alone, I've been called petty, jealous, a hater and a troll, and I was told to eat the slop or shut up because he's giving it out to the world for free, and all of the above from people who never even attempted to refute any of the arguments that I didn't even make to begin with.

This is starting to feel less like a developer forum and more like a maga convention.
