Mail Spam – Im stuck need help

Is a custom domain safer than Gmail for cold outreach?

I’ve built an automation where I use my own Gmail account as the sender. However, after sending a few emails, my messages started going to the recipients’ spam folders, even when the email content was legitimate and well-written.

Could you please advise me on whether using a custom domain would be better for cold outreach, and what I should do to improve email deliverability?

Here's the help you need: 1. all providers have systems against unsolicited commercial emails. 2. Cold email is just a numbers game at this point. Most agencies target 5 to 7 percent engagement because they expect some or most of their outreach to end up in promotions/SPAM tabs. In this case what should you do?

1. Use tools like SpamCipher to help you manage multiple inboxes. 2. constant warm-up: which means your inbox engages with managed inboxes which moves your emails from spam and mark them as important, which teaches the providers' systems that your emails are important. This is also called reputation repair. This is the only way, there are no tricks or magic buttons. You have to send thousands and expect couple of 100s in conversion, that' the current state of the cold email outreach now. I hope this helps.

I know this is not what you’re asking for, but I’d instead advise you on not using email as your primary sales vehicle.

I also know it depends on the product you’re selling.

Most often than not, email is a big pile of mess for most people, so getting their attention is just really hard.

If you can, if it’s viable, go to their office, shake their hand and pitch the product face to face.

Too far? Call and schedule a meeting.

Anyone can send an email blast to thousands of contacts. Not many have the courage to just pick up the phone or see people face to face.

Sorry I couldn’t help! But I hope this is useful :)

that's system working as intended.

SPAM is officially described as UCE, "Unsolicited Commercial Emails". Your emails are both unsolicited and commercial, so people rightfully block it. I know I always click "report spam" when I see an unsolicited commercial email, not just to clean my inbox ("report spam" and "delete" are right next to each other), but to make sure sender's reputation takes a hit and fewer other people get spam email.
