Nobody knows the objectives as they were never stated first and now everybody had reason to lie. (Except prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons)
What they accomplished seems reasonable to make a guess at objective around, and regime change by killing the leaders is a reasonable guess considering they did it.
Getting irgc hardliners more power is obviously not a goal. It is what happened of course, but not the goal.
the intended result was a regime change to eliminate an enemy of Israel. did replacing IRGC moderates with IRGC hardliners accomplish that?
